The recently opened Cap Vermell Country club, just a 5 minute drive away, has been built to the highest of standards and offers an array of facilities including a very large gymnasium, a large indoor pool, an outdoor pool and jaccuzzi, Sauna and steam room, showers, Fitness and aqua classes, Spa treatments etc... It also has numerous Tennis and Paddle Tennis courts.
The Club is open to Non residents for a very reasonable weekly fee especially in Low season, making it an ideal choice to use for your daily workout in the cooler months.

Sailing and Boat Rental
A fantastic way to explore the beautiful coast line is from a boat.
A must in the summer months is to take the local ‘Jungle Boat’ from Canyamel to Cala Ratjada for a lovely lunch on the waterfront and some shopping, or do the round trip which will take you back to Canyamel but does not allow you to get off the boat in Cala Ratjada.
The boat picks up from a small mooring in Canyamel which can be found if you walk along the pathway over looking the sea from Cap Vermell restaurant.
Note the boat does not do a return trip from Cala Ratjada to Canyamel but there are numerous taxis in Cala Ratjada to take you home.

Cycling
Cycling is very popular in Mallorca and bikes can be hired from nearby Arta and Cala Rajada.
The old railway line between Arta and Manacor has been converted into a cycling track and makes a fantastic day cycling through the beautiful countryside and stopping off at traditional towns such as Son Severa.
